Great bridge but recommend fix to railings

Bridge quality & looks great but rails a little low. Also when we pushed on a side post a lag bolt came out - could have been a serious accident. I replaced all lag bolts with thru coach bolts & nuts with large washers (center posts a problem with blocking)

Great product

I recently removed a culvert and "day-lighted" a stream which crosses a path leading from the parking area to one of my rental cottages, so I needed a sturdy and attractive bridge to maintain guest (and maintenance) access to the cottage. This Nantucket double rail bridge fit the bill perfectly, and was assembled and installed in under two hours. I did screw the planks to the center beam, for for an added feel of security, and I'd suggest including screws for this in the kit (but matching screws are readily available from the local hardware store. Everyone who has seen the bridge has admired its design and functionality.

easy to assemble-our 14 yr. old did it!

Our 14 year old son put both bridges together himself with the assistance of his two younger siblings and little help from Dad. We applied a weather treatment stain and do they look great.
