Beautiful arbor

Excellent quality cedar arbor. No damage. Very few knots in the wood. Good Quality hardware, I elected for the stainless steel. Put together with a friend in about half a day.

Sadly one of the side pieces arrived damaged from shipping despite what appeared to be very good packaging. I contacted Fifthroom and had the damaged piece replaced and at my home within a week. Excellent service!

Got this as a replacement for a similar custom but 25 year old cedar gate which is no longer available. I thought the original was well made; this one is even better, with good materials and careful construction. I ordered the cedar gates too, and they go perfectly. Customer service was very helpful, and shipping was fast. 10/10!

Love My Purchase!

I bought the Canterbury style arbor in cedar wood stained with the natural stain. It’s amazing, and even the carpenter who put it together was wowed by it - the quality or wood and workmanship, the hardware, the ease of assembly and installation. (Took about two hours with two people working). It is the centerpiece of my backyard garden. You do NOT need a carpenter to construct this, but Al is retired and looking for small projects. He and his buddy had fun with this project. Just gorgeous. So glad I purchased this lovely arbor. Very classy!

The arbor was packaged well and arrived about 3 weeks after I ordered it. It’s heavy - about 150 pounds. The only glitch is that I have a long gravel driveway and the delivery truck was too big to get through my gate. I had to help the delivery man pull it on a hand cart over gravel and lawn. The poor man should have been given a mini- forklift to get this job done!

Well made, I did not install but hired my landscaping company to install, they commented how all the holes for screws were lined up and that the instructions were clear and concise.

Beautiful workmanship!

I really do love this arbor. We were amazed at the workmanship. It took me an afternoon to stain it myself. Probably well worth the money for the company to do it. We ordered the extra 2' in height, then cut off 1' of the bottom to get the exact height we wanted. Couldn't ask for a better put-together arbor. Worth the cost, no doubt about it. And dealing with the employees was a joy - couldn't be more helpful. We highly recommend this company

Fifthroom Should Be Around For A Long Time

Top quality product. Very impressed by its design, sturdiness and how easily it could be assembled. Even the way it was packed is impressive.

We had a few issues with damaged parts as well as a gate that had hinges assembled on the wrong side. It took one email and we were contacted promptly by Tim, the president of the company. He was very apologetic and made sure replacement parts were shipped in short order. This company totally gets the concept of customer service. I wish more companies would follow their lead. Very impressed with every aspect of Fifthroom.com and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Also want to mention Cindy in customer service who was so pleasant to deal with. Perfect Arbor

As soon as I opened the box I saw the beautiful craftsmanship of this arbor. I upgraded to the stainless hardware and am glad I did. It looks great with our new cedar fence. The quality is outstanding.

Well made product. Went together easily Top screw attachment of lattice to 4x4 split split cedar strip for 18" during manufacture. Suggest using smaller screw or not letting screw head sink into cedar strip

In a world of cheaply made goods, when something arrives and weighs real heavy, you have an inkling that you have possibly made the right choice. When you unwrap and put it together it is just how you imagined it should be! Great posts, not flimsy in the least! Went together pretty easy for two guys.

Love this Arbor!!

We ordered this arbor online which is potentially a bit risky for this type of product, but everything went very smoothly from beginning to end. When the product arrived it was well packaged and the product and workmanship is of excellent quality. All our expectations have been fully met. I ordered the stainless steel hardware (a good choice), but left it unstained because I was sure I could do that myself. However, if time is a consideration, then having it pre-stained is the better option. It took me about 10 hours to stain it with 2 coats (plus drying time). But I wanted the option of stain color etc. The cost of having it pre-stained is likely a better choice for most people. The instructions were clear and with help from my brother, I was able to assemble and install it in a couple of hours. I braced the bottom and cemented it into our Allen block retaining wall at the entrance. It is sturdy, looks great and really adds to the look of our entry walk and garden. Value for $, this is a great buy and we are very happy with the final result.

The whole ordering/shipping process was quite seamless and I spoke to sales people only once to clarify some info. They were very patient and had clear answers for my questions. As I mentioned, the arbor was well-packaged and I was able to follow the shipment by tracking number online. We live in Vancouver, Canada, so I had it shipped to Blaine, Washington (just across the border). Because shipping is free within the US, I was able to save a few $. It arrived within 2 weeks. So, our experience with this company has been very positive and we would certainly recommend them to anyone considering their products.

The 4 x 4 post, 2 x 6 top rail, and 1 x 2 lattice, makes this arbor heavy and rock solid giving it a hefty apperance. Well worth the money. Went with the stain/sealer option, that we believe will be worth the cost. Excellent packaging and easy assembly. Also MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Exquisite Craftsmanship

The moment I opened the crate, I could see how beautifully and carefully crafted this arbors. I assembled this arbor by myself and am a rank beginner. The instructions were fairly clear, but could be improved with an "arbor assembly for dummies" approach. Assume that the reader doesn't know; those who do will skim by. That said, the arbor is a glorious focal point in my garden. Thank you!

This arbor is gorgeous! The quality and attention to detail is amazing - so worth the price. I'm a 62 year old grandmother and I assembled this arbor myself. Not complicated, but a bit of a challenge for a novice. More explicit instructions would have been helpful. I love it!

Well made and easy to assemble

I purchased this for my daughter's outdoor wedding in October. The arbor is well made and looks like it is very easy to assemble. We haven't actually put it together yet as it is easier to store in pieces and we don't want out it in the weather until the wedding. I would recommend this product.
