Treated Pine Dutchman Face to Face Swing

My mother purchased this swing for herself. For 45 years she has had a face to face swing of one kind or another. Each time she would upgrade to a little nicer model. It had been about 7 years since her last swing fell apart after it was more than 15 years old. She wasn't able to find another one anywhere. We found this one online and she was very nervous to order it site unseeen, but I convinced her and she is so happy. Two weeks after getting it she finally gave her notice at her job of 40 years and she is going to sit on her swing and enjoy her retirement. She has never been happier. We made a Sunbrella Awning cover for the top of it so she would have shade and it is just beautiful. She is very happy [...] and we were very happy with the ease of its assembly. WE OWN AN ACREAGE OVERLOOKING BIG STONE LAKE IN NORTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. WE SET THE SWING ON A DECK AND ONE CAN SEE ABOUT 8 - 10 MILES OF A 26 MILE LONG LAKE. A GORGEOUS SETTING AND ESPECIALLY FROM THIS SWING.

everyone admires my Dutchman swing.

I use this swing to relax in, and as I gentlyswing, all my cares just go away. My grand-daughter likes to play "train" and I get on the train and we go for a ride. I wish I could get a cover for it for the winter months. It's so charming and makes my backyard a place where people hate to leave.
