Our Shipping Process for Easy Assembled Kit Packages

Easy to assemble kit packaged for shipping.
Step 1: Packaging

Our easy to assemble kit packages ship on a wooden pallet. To protect your structure, we add plywood barriers before weather proofing the kit with heavy duty vinyl wrap.
 
Step 2: Transit

We ship most structure kit packages on a pallet through motor freight. Once your structure leaves the warehouse, you will receive an email with the carrier's name, phone number, and tracking number. You may track your shipment online from the carrier's website we provide. Fifthroom.com works with freight companies to provide prompt, on-time deliveries. Once your structure arrives at the desired terminal, the trucking company will call you to schedule the estimated time of delivery. (Actual delivery usually occurs within a two or three hour window).
Fast, Friendly Delivery Service
 

Kits are unloaded from the truck piece by piece by the customer and his or her helpers.
Step 3: Curbside Delivery

Carriers and drivers are not required or expected to help unload the truck, so please be sure you have enough people ready to unload it. If you don’t have equipment to unload your structure, your shipment will need to be unloaded from the truck piece by piece. Some pieces may weigh more than 75 pounds, so you will want to have 2 or 3 people to help you unload and carry the pieces to the desired location.


 
No Touch Delivery (For Our Easy to Assemble Kit Packages Only)
Try our very popular “No Touch” delivery service.

We will hire a local towing company to deliver your structure to your business or residence. The “No Touch” fee varies depending on the mileage between you and the local shipping terminal.

Fully Assembled Structures

We also offer a Fully Assembled delivery option, subject to product availability and your desired location. To explore this service further and determine its availability, you can consult with your dedicated Project Advisor who will be more than happy to assist you.

To receive your structure fully assembled, we need direct access to your desired location. Unloading requires little help, as the remote controlled tilt trailer does most of the work.

Structure Requirements

There are limits to the size of structure that can be shipped fully assembled. Generally, structures must be 12’ wide or less (or 12’ wide or less in the smaller dimension, width or depth, for rectangular and oval structures). Any dimensions that are over 12’ wide are rarely feasible for this type of shipping due to road and highway regulations, as well as general safety concern for large structures travelling long distances.

This is not always a requirement, but structures with a deck included are much easier to ship Fully Assembled since the deck provides extra stability while in transit.
